Another new kid on the block in Belgium: IN2Spirit. Belgium is really transforming into a whisky-nation :-) and I'm more then happy about it.
So. This Dalmunach PX - Very exited about this bottle. Young, very young, but wauw... What an aromas and what a potential. This is a sweet dance between crème-brulée, nuts and a world of dried-fruits (raisins, clementine-peel, hint of plum). Lovely!
The smell really gets you: strong, almonds, marzipan, caramel, rosewater. Hint of white chocolate. Sweet, like a bakery shop.
Oily, sweet, crème-brulée with raisins, some walnuts and a hint of dry sherry. Some fudge, oak. Bitters. Creamy. A lot of evolution, everything seems to be perfecty working together. Nice, so nice, like a dance. Lovely!
Dark chocolate in the finish. Rather long, especially for such a young whisky. Peppery at the end. Hint of clementine-peel. Caramel and crème-brulée stay and die slowly out. Wauw.
