Vanilla with creamy caramel, some wood and a distant smoky note - or am I imagining the wg. Rechar one? Definitely a nice bourbon note.
The taste is also vanilla, plus the caramel, rather strong than sweet with a few herbal notes. Slight roasted aromas come out of the Rechar cask, giving it some depth.
Finally there is a somewhat musty barrel note, which is tasty.
A good whisky from a nice bourbon hogshead. Cream caramel with vanilla and a little plum jam and a hint of smoke. It's delicious - but just too expensive.
