An "honest" 12yo from Speyside. The 1st fill bourbon barrel isn't too bulky, but doesn't hide anything either - which isn't even necessary here, because the distillate is absolutely clean.

Dried and then roasted orange peels, tangerines, apricots, grated almonds and hazelnuts. Beautifully fresh, the fruit notes in the foreground, toffee, milk coffee, caramel and vanilla as a substructure. Even comes up with a slightly maritime touch.

Creamy and clearly nutty start. Almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts, the roasted orange peels here too. Waxy note of honey, marzipan, caramel, fudge, milk coffee. Slightly tart blend of herbs, fresh oak wood.

Medium length with spicy wood, tangerines, orange peel, honey, vanilla and toffee.
