In blind tasting I would have considered the bottling to be a good bourbon, although I haven't had that many of them in the glass yet and I still lack some experience in this regard.
Very lovely nose, which also comes up with beautiful tropical fruits. If you could smell "creamyness," this would go in that direction. The alcohol is hardly noticeable. Strong vanilla, juicy bundt cake, baklava with honey, some lacquer, ripe galia melon, canned tropical fruit, ripe mangoes and papayas, passion fruit.
Powerful start, slightly tingling. Sweet, but also slightly tart. Nice alcohol strength, adding water is not absolutely necessary.
Oak, salty caramel, honey baklava again, grapefruit, passion fruit, mango, some glue (very lightly), ginger, ripe bananas, cane sugar, liquorice.
The finish is nice and sweet too, but rather fleeting. Honey, tropical fruits and fine notes of vanilla remain briefly.
