Really quaffable. For a Springbank maybe the minerality is missing or something like that. But the Campbeltown funk is there.

Well dang. You'd think a 6 year old whisky is going to be pretty rough but there is something special going on here. I definitely pick up a Glen Scotia vibe here. It's reminiscent of the Victoriana and then there is a richness that speaks louder than 6 years. I am liking the salted caramel and some licorice and then something campbeltowny but not funk or maybe it is a distant distant funk that is coming through.

Very inviting. salt, caramel, something funky but not strong at all.

a touch sharp with the ABV over 50 but it doesn't detract from the experience at all. Medium finish.

Surprisingly nice blend for such a young age. Or should we say a teaspooned Glen Scotia? Either way it's quite balanced and not aggressive or spirity at all. The sherry cask does not overwhelm the spirit but adds a nice layer of sweetness and red berries. Good drinking strength as well. I've drank a lot older, more expensive whiskies that weren't as nice as this one. Well done by TBWC for bottling this (and for putting the age statement on there!).
