Nice and sweet with caramel, vanilla and honey. Spicy notes mix in immediately, such as roasted malt, chocolate cookies, roasted almonds, cocoa nibs and hazelnuts. After a short time, fruity citrus notes and apple compote appear, which become more intense over time. The fruity sweetness is complemented by notes of oak and white pepper. After some time the fruity notes change a bit and I can also find bananas.
At the beginning just as pleasant as in the nose and very sweet. Again I find caramel, vanilla and honey. Then the pepper comes through, as well as herbaceous notes. I perceive the citrus fruits (oranges) as sweeter than in the nose. The apple compote is also present again. In contrast to the nose, I also find slightly sour berries in the mouth. After a few seconds in the mouth, bittersweet oak notes and milk chocolate are added.
The sweetness slowly decreases, it becomes drier. The oak intensifies and brings toasted aromas and dark chocolate. The finish is long and notes of pastry and marzipan are added. The apples and citrus fruits linger on the tongue until the end and get a slightly tropical touch towards the end.
