A very idiosyncratic dram and I have to say I've had better Glenglassaugh malts in my glass.

Nutty and a little alcoholic, little fruit and sweetness. Malty, some caramel, some cherry wine gum and slightly sulphurous hints.

Slight sweetness with some citrus notes at the beginning, followed by a decent sharpness that I have never experienced before. Even water can hardly slow you down here. There are also some spicy-bitter wood notes. You have to like that, it's not my thing.

On the other hand, the finish is almost gentle and runs continuously spicy.
