Whisky Reviews for Strathclyde 1973 DT

2 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 88.54 points

  1. Jeep51 scored this whisky 86 points Expert Senior

    • Nose
Powerful !! It's spicy, very spicy. But what spices?
Creme brulee, caramel, vanilla and coconut. A strange sensation of varnish or solvent.
    • Taste
Flambé bananas and caramel. A little vanilla and spices. It's powerful but not burning. There is also a slight woody and a tannic side. With water: a lot of pepper!
    • Finish
Long on caramel and this unfortunate varnish

  2. PierreDH scored this whisky 89 points Expert Junior

    Top grain !
    • Nose
      Coco,
vanille, crème brûlée. Clou de girofle.
    • Taste
      Puissante,
      épicée, fruité.
    • Finish
      Beaucoup
      dâ€
