    Not that impressive.
Too light body and every notes are so pale.
    Cannot feel Laphroaig's main character.

The Laphroaig Four Oak was my first bottle of Scottish single malt. Sure there has been better whisky since then and I don't know if I would buy another bottle but the first dram of an Islay Stinker sticks in your head and in your heart.

  3. KB201 scored this whisky 83 points Connoisseur

The new Travel Retail bottling was allowed to mature in four different types of casks. The classic smoky character of Laphroaig is combined with various wood notes.
    • Nose
Laphroaig-typical, malty smoke, rather gentle, with delicate fruit notes.
    • Taste
Soft, round, tasty, sweet notes with salty seasoning, very good.
    • Finish
Medium length, oak tones complement the still smooth smoke.
