Give this Glen Adam blend some time in the glass and you will be rewarded
Initially quite an alcoholic nose, which sounds strange to me at 40% abv. But after 30-45 minutes, after warming the glass in the hand, the blends starts to open up and gets quite nice. A dusty, musty and somewhat earthy smell. Little sweetness as well. Different from today's standard blends.
Bid oily and waxy. Quite warm mouth feeling, and unexpected full body.
Not too long (just below medium long). Warm mouth feeling again till the end. In the far end a bit watery.
p.s.: no Pepsi required. Very well drinkable. I have tasted single malts which were far worse.
