The scent of freshly squeezed lemon juice mixed with a grapefruit purée, lightly salted. Wonderfully fresh and mineral at the same time. Rain-wet pebbles, mortar, machine oil, plus an emerging note of curry spices.
-
Pleasantly strong attack, which is less creamy than before (~2016 batches), but which nevertheless makes you think of Springbank. Salted tangerine slices, grapefruit, pineapple pieces. As in the nose, curry spices gain their place after a while with a focus on cardamom. Add pepper and the well-known and highly revered mineral note: salt water on pebbles. Later cocoa and milk coffee and always a spicy mineral fruitiness.
-
Long finish, clearly mineral with a hint of peat smoke, but without losing the fruitiness.
