    Blenders glass.
Not like the classic Grants. Good, even.

    • Nose
Fruit mix, mint, vanilla, oak, cinnamon
    • Taste
Repeats the aroma, black pepper and ginger are added
    • Finish
Long-lasting, astringent, with a slight herbal bitterness

  2. olegborgol scored this whisky 89 points Connoisseur

The aroma is fruit lollipops, pollen, lemonade. Taste - spicy fruit, grapefruit, sweet pear syrup, the finish is quite long, sharp. Strength seems a bit higher (50-55) 22.5-22-22.5-22

Pear and apple distillate. Toasted caramel. Decently astringent in taste and aftertaste.

Blind tasting during WhiskymyWife event. That was one of two bourbon barrel whiskies on the list. Another one was WB35084 a solid bourbon Goliath, fair play for TTOW boys, both whiskies are top notch, solid bourbon influenced whiskies.
    • Nose
      90 90
Soft and round, no sharp edges nearly perfect on a nose. Cotton candy, powdered sugar, lemonade, doughnuts, sweet and confectionary.
    • Taste
      89 89
Toffee, spiciness, apricots, apricot jam, garden fruits, apple seed, somewhat dry, custard, meringue
    • Finish
      89 89
Slightly bitter, apple seed, some might argue, that one should avoid chewing on apple seed by all means as they contain cyanide. No poison in finish, medium and juicy,

Close to the classic bourbon Glen Grant. But a little extra tannins are interrupted by sweet candies both in aroma and taste. In the aftertaste there is deep-fried onion (very unusual, I don’t remember that in a whisky ever tasted). Not bad, but not a masterpiece. 22-22-21.5-22

Nose: sweet, fruity, fruit candies, bourbon, lemon peel, notes of toffee, fudge and sour fruit again
Taste: bittersweet, sparkles on the tongue, dryness appears. Grapefruit and light touches of milky sweetness.
Medium finish, for a change as in taste, sweeter than dry.
Great aroma, I could sniff endlessly, taste a bit dry for my taste, but the finish makes up for it.

For a modern GlenGrant, it is unexpectedly good, beyond praise, and the further, the tastier!

Very good, this is deeper than just a lollipop, maybe because we are used to a reduced glen grant. I would like to drink on a hot summer day
