  1. Archer scored this whisky 85 points Connoisseur

Reminds me in places (especially the nose) of a Classic of Islay.
Suitable for friends of the clear barrel influence, the presented peat smoke note is tasty.

The alcohol is present, at least with a freshly poured dram. Significant sherry notes, mild peat smoke. Black cherries, raisins, fresh figs, nougat and marzipan. In the further course, the alcohol is noticeable by a slightly stinging feeling in the nose.
    • Taste
      85 85
Sweet and mildly smoky with a reasonably powerful attack. Prunes, Raisins, Blackberries. Slightly creamy, the peat smoke subtle.
    • Finish
      84 84
Medium long and dry, now clearly smoky, still the sweet fruits.

  5. Bene37 scored this whisky 86 points Expert Senior

Nose: brackish, red fruits (apple, cherry, strawberry), embers and ash from a campfire, some bacon, some lime, sea breeze

Palate: Present and boisterous, ash and embers, bacon, machine oil, red fruit (as above), sea breeze, some liquorice, slightly metallic

Finish: short to medium length, ash, sea breeze, embers, a few red fruits, somewhat brackish, slightly metallic

Rating: Rough and boisterous, anything but bad or boring. Here berries, brackish notes and campfires come together.

  9. SirTomasz scored this whisky 88 points Expert Senior

Nose: wine and dry overripe fruit with smoke and medicaments in the background, some fresh plums. oscypek
On the tongue of ripe apples, a bit of plums, a bit creamy, you can feel the sweet sweetness that then stays on the tongue with broad notes and smoke that pleasantly stick to the palate. Something else, but I'm not entirely convinced, maybe if I had more

  10. ThorstenH scored this whisky 84 points Connoisseur

Sherry spices with a certain sweetness. BBQ and plums, plums. A little pretzel sticks. More sweet smoky notes in the mouth and finish.
