Redbreast PX is bottled at 46% ABV and without chill-filtration. It will be available end of September in selected retailers in Ireland, N. Ireland, UK, Finland, Global Travel Retail and in the US from November at RRP of €80 (£72 & $86).
    • Nose
Hints of fruit, spices and toasted nuts combine with the subtly sweet aroma of Pedro Ximénez sherry seasoned casks.
    • Taste
A zesty, syrupy mouthful with the perfect balance of fruit, spice and toasted notes
    • Finish
Satisfyingly rich and long, sweet flavours linger on the palate.

So smooth and easy to drink....its dangerous in that respect. Beautiful dark fruits, dark honey, raisins in the background, slight bitterness in the backend, but nothing offensive at all. I gotta say, this is one of my fave redbreasts ive tried (havent tried the 27yr or dream casks though).

It has been tasted several times and this is simply a great demonstration from Redbreast of how great the pot is. Amazing candy cane red lollipop

Somewhat drinkable but nothing special, grain isn't my preferred anyways
    • Nose

Fruity, austere, hints of grain, nuts, little acacia honey, little dried fruits, dark forrest berries, little woody, hints of vanilla
    • Taste
      83 83
Little punchy, vanilla, subtle sweetness, more forrest fruits, nutty, sherry wood
    • Finish
      82 82
Medium long, warm, little spicy, herbal, more woody

Syrupy dark fruits, honey and toffee, sweet, spicy and boring.

This whiskey meets all my expectations. It is like a mixture of the best candies from different packages from different manufacturers. So this will be a very, very popular Redbreast. Maybe some rum consumers will agree with us.
