A straightforward uncomplicated, but still very intense malt. At first sight (or smell) it offers even more intense medicinal peat smoke, but after a short time it combines with lush sweet and fruity (bourbon) notes. This creates a nice mix of different flavors.
    • Nose
Strong, phenolic-medicinal peat smoke is in the foreground. Citrus fruits (lemons, oranges, tangerines) appear behind. The whole results in an interesting mixture of sweet and sour impressions. Over time, however, the sweet fruits predominate. Canned peaches, fruit salad with a hint of flowers, pineapple and cotton candy come through. A real fruit bomb! The smoke, which was very intense in the beginning, is already very well integrated into the fruity sweetness after a short time. After tasting, I find more floral notes, as well as caramel, hazelnuts and a touch of oak.
    • Taste
Like the nose, very sweet with an intense fruit cocktail. I can find almost all fruit from the nose, complemented by red apples and pears. The smoke lags behind the sweet fruit from the start. The consistency is very syrupy and oily. After a few seconds, the oak comes through again. The mouthfeel is slightly bitter and complemented by nutty notes.
    • Finish
Initially sweet and fruity with a hint of bittersweet oak and hazelnuts. Overall very pleasant and about medium length. Afterwards I still have a trace of oranges on the tongue.

    It's not a spectacular whisky.
But he does not cheat: quality ingredients (first fill barrels), correct maturation (10-11 years), sincere presentation (no caramel, no filtration. This gives a whisky that is not sweet. It is dry, close to a Lowland that would be maritime. An excellent companion for every day, again, very sincere.

      Lemony, salty.
After taking a sip, returning to the nose, the cask of quality bourbon makes itself present.
    • Taste
      86 86
      Slightly oily, salty and peppery.
    • Finish
      86 86
Peppery then a touch of sweetness due to the bourbon cask

How beautifully simple a pure bourbon cask can be. Wonderfully clear in the notes, to be enjoyed reliably at any time.
