Whisky Reviews for Port Charlotte 2002 MoS
10 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 88.28 points
- alcohol is very well integrated
a very restrained nose due to the degree, you have to pour a little bit so that the evaporation surface is optimal, in addition to total peat, honey tones with grassy echoes clearly slip through. The aroma from an empty glass is generally gorgeous
powerful, dense, decently sweet
long dominated by pepper

- A powerful PC that does not excite.
Immediate antiseptic. Citrus. Stewed pears.
Actually a soft entry, and then afterwards, a ton of bricks. I almost cannot catch my breath. Young and restless. This is more like a Kilchoman than a Port Charlotte to be honest, which is not a bad thing. With that said, there is not too much complexity in this one.
Again, the finish is not very complex, but it is long.
