Taste: Palate Cinema - starts gently, mildly, oily, smooth and sweet, then spreads fruity acidity with very intense slightly alcoholic cherry flavor and chocolate notes (Mon Cherie?), followed by milk chocolate with peppermint, one lets air rise on the palate gingerbread spice and cinnamon, so I did not have that intense in any malt, wood, sawdust, coffee, chocolate and a nice sweetness form a medium to long finish
Conclusion: wow 12years? real? others are not keeping up with their 18 years. Flavors, ripeness, alcohol strength - this malt has just done everything right, a hammer fabric for its price - not far from the Allardice
