Green apples, pears, mown grass and grainy mash tun aromas. Can be described as young and fresh, but can also be described as too young and fermented.
Sweetness is there, concentrated grape juice, unripe, slightly bitter white wine - but the alcohol is only 48% vol. quite strong and overpowers the aromas.
Bitterness, alcohol, unripe fruit - the whisky doesn't convince me.
Finally, after a series of Glencadams, this is an independent bottling that reflects the character of the distillery and the other bottlings well. But you really need this bottling with 48% vol. neither, it differs too little from the Distillery Bottlings.
