A very good value for your money! Sour cherries, red fruit sweetness, dried figs, milk chocolate, nice spiciness (ginger/black pepper). Noticable tannins and walnut notes in the finish. A hint of orange peel on the palate brings some tartness to the table. Overall, a wonderfully complex, intense, and nicely balanced out sherry whisky. I did not get any Suplhur like many others did. Highly recommended, if you can still get it! If this would have been bottled in cask strength, my rating would be clearly over the 90 mark. With the taste profile described, I am on 50-60% sure that this is a Macallan...

Well made sherry whisky. For a 12y, it is a remarkable success story.

The pickled walnut style of Macallan! Nice and old-fashioned...

It makes you smile when you pour a dram with dark natural color from a blackened bottle. Its promising good sherry notes. Mouth: intense, spicy, tangy feel, almost I would say its young, but no, that heat its ginger like, after fade away to smoothness. Dry, savoury like, bit of sulfur feel, for 48% abv i would quess CS, its full flavoured, also good common sherry flavours eg raisins, figs, dried red fruits. Good finish, damn! Its goood! For that price a should buy a case...

Nose: The scent of raisins and plums dominates. But it feels like the scent is trapped, you have to stick your nose in it. Alkok kick is significant It must be around 12 years, but the frequency of integration is tight?? As I continue to smell it, the orange flavor comes up.

Palette watery, but not empty in taste. Mmm... it's because of the water. There is quite a bit of spice. There is a distinct feeling of warmth enveloping the tongue.

The finish is medium with a hint of nutty.

Overall Review: I suspect it's a Mac, but I think it might be. If so, are you going to drop out of qc? It lacks a lot of the sherryness of Mac. Aside from that, if you look at the taste, it's a pretty good sherry cayenne. If it is under 20, I think it will be competitive in the Korean market.

Macallan's distinctive flavor of flavor, sweet, and a lot of charred oak

This is truly a gem that no one would expect in a bottle for this amount. Beautiful whisky for lovers of sherry, dark chocolate, raisins. Hidden treasure

Most enjoyable on the nosing, a bit unpolished on the tongue, good balance and interesting chocolate notes. Very "American oak" sherry, so a bit hot, could do with a bit more juiciness.

The Whisky Exchange (which is the same entity, to some degree, as the Elixir Distillers which bottled this malt) lists this as a Mac*llan.

Compared to the other M (which was 10 years, compared to 12 years of this) from their fourth parcel, this one has some rubbery-sulphury tang that might put some people off - one of them being me. Underneath that lies some classic sherry malt flavours such as dried fruits, dark chocolate (with some acidity present as well!), dusty oak and so.
    • Nose
Dark brown sugar, some rubber & sulphur, dried prunes, dusty wood
    • Taste
Dried prunes, ripe cherries, some rubber, dark chocolate, cloves
    • Finish
Dark chocolate, treacle, savoury oak, some varnish

I would almost say Dalmore 15 with a sharp edge. Hints of blackcurrant and blackberry...

The sherry barrel dominates strongly. After pouring Maggi, it turns into dark fruit (blackberry).
Tastier in the mouth and in the finish. Fruity. Longer finish. With the third sip, now also a little chocolate in the finish.
Time in the glass is very good. He wins tremendously.
