Whisky Reviews for Kilchoman 2006

- just a few drops of water and it explodes;-)
- Taken from bottle label, Dr. James Swan - Whisky Consultant
Strong peaty aromas and a complex blend of pear drops, citrus and hints of mango.
A initial sweetness is followed by peat smoke and the mixed fruits.
The finish is long, clean and refreshing leaving hints of peat smoke and cloves.
- If Kilchoman develops in this direction then wow that's really a horny stuff. There are flavors without end, cask strength and peat what do you want more than Torfliebhaber
just a word: Islay
that's just my cup of tea, dark chocolate, pure cocoa, but peat without end is not dominant
long and warm
