I am surprised by this 10 year old bottling. Bowmore with Aston Martin machine oil, a great nose.

Campfire, bacon, with the typical Bowmore orange, pretzel sticks.

a shame, unfortunately a little more depth is missing here. Feels a little empty. Can't keep up with his nose. Possibly due to the age.

Quite drinkable but nothing special and why the hell "Dark & Intense"?....the stuff is colored.

Nice but flawed. A strange soupy aftertaste, find it only on the second try

I am a supporter and fan of Bowmore. This whisky, despite its young age, is very correct and well-balanced.
Sweet, aromatic, fruity with beautifully blended smoky and peat ingredients.
I am glad that I could try it, and even more so that I can do it every now and then by buying the whole bottle, not a sample.

very clear, sweet, vanilla, biscuits, crumble on yeast dough, plum jam, raisins, peat, grapefruit, roasted gum

delicate, creamy, quite sweet, bitter orange, grapefruit, raisins, chocolate, traces of oak, peat and smoke at the end

long, pleasant, slightly salty, at the same time sugar, vanilla, smoke and pleasant honey-bitter aftertaste with notes of grapefruit.

In contrast to the "normal" 10-pack Dark&Intense, significantly better barrels were used. It is therefore not a "high flyer", but it is solidly made and gives the connoisseur pleasant impressions. It's nice that it ends mildly and sweetly again at the end.
