- Inexpensive bourbon - good beginner - interesting, intense, has its own character and is not "soft-washed"!
[Color] full gold;
soft, subtle, sweet (syrup, sugar, vanilla), toast, charred wood;
soft, warming, slightly alcoholic, sugar, syrup, corn, caramel, vanilla, wood, tobacco, somewhat bitter;
short, rough, alcoholic burning;
- Joa, since the slightly more expensive ones by Evan Williams are so popular as PLV Kracher I wanted to start at the bottom, that was nothing. : D
Already quite sprittig / adhesive, vanilla, honey, toffee, the most typical halt, apricot, cheap leather
Glue, caramel, honey, nail polish remover, quite alcoholic, vanilla, some toffee and some herbs, as well as fresh wood
Short, young, honey, youngest oak and ethanol
Lovely honey and vanilla. Gentle and cheerful characters with touch of
fresh pine and old book. Underlay trace of rubber the only set back,
but an acceptable flaw.
Palate:- Good medium weight on palate, complementing well with the easy and direct
flavours. Pronounce taste of sweet fig and cirtric tangerine.
Finish:- Medium length, lightly spice hot with liquorice mint after taste.
Simple and good value. A delightful dram on a hot day.
— at The Whiskey Bar, Kuala Lumpur.
- At best I would drink it with ice cream. But rather something to mix.
Sweet, after brown sugar. Charcoal oak, vanilla, fruity fresh with some citrus.
A middleweight with pleasing structure. Smoky-rough oak, vanilla, sweet fruits, leather, caramel and pepper.
Sprittig with pepper, menthol and bitterness.
improves this whiskey significantly. Leave half-fool bottle for at least few
months and you will get totally different experience. Notes taken after 6-7 months from the moment bottle
vanilla, some oak spices, quality yeast, luscious and rounded
honey, a touch of glue (yeah, it’s still young bourbon), some bitter heavy
vanilla and some spices, dark bitter-sour chocolate
- For the money it is a pretty good Whiskey. I would prefer it with a bit more water than I normal use, or a couple cubes of ice. 75/100
A little harsh, sweet syrup and corn
Not too bad, needs some water or ice and let the ice melt and drink warm up. Notes of oak, syrup vanilla and marsupan.
Fairly quick, leaves a linger of vanilla and slight bit of cinnamon.
Aromas of caramel, cola and cinnamon which are accompanied by a rich aroma of oak and one pinch of mint and hay
Corn, cola, vanilla and cherry syrup with cinnamon and again the rich flavor of oak.
A long and sweet aftertaste of caramel complemented by a soft fruity and oak
