This whisky is fine but right now there are a few places offering Laphroaig 10 Cask strength batch 14 at £63 and another at £66
And a couple of weeks ago I brought Laphroaig 10 Cask strength batch 13 for £64,
All of those prices included free shipping as I ordered enough for free shipping,
I only drink peated islay and island whisky and sometimes kilkerran heavily peated when available and almost exclusively bourbon Cask maturation again almost exclusively Cask strength whisky so I'm pretty on point about this type of whisky it's prices and what is good value,
This may have been 100% Laphroaig once but not now maybe there some in there in small quantities but when you can buy Laphroaig 10 Cs for the same a sometimes a few quid less your better of saving your money for Laphroaig if that is what you want,
Laphroaig Cs is one of my favourites,
Lagavulin 12 is another, of the most recent 2020 and 2021 and really good but 2019 is much milder still good,
For value regular weeknight ect kilkerran heavily peated is about £42 when you can get it, mac talla mara is very nice especially if you get it on offer of around £42 to £44 normally it £48 to £50,
And my favourite non Cask strength deals are Lagavulin 8 from tesco at£38 which is awesome value for lag and the whisky is excellent and %48,
Some a bit long winded there but I wanted to give my reasons for why this brand and bottle is a definite no buy for me and apsolutey not at over £60
If you want non branded peated islay that's Cask strengh mactalla mara is excellent for the price and it scored well on whisky fun lol

Rain of iodine. Shards of salt. Brownish scum. It's the rising tide. Kelp, limestone, gypsum, chalk. Swirling smoke. Light vanilla drizzle, one or two grapes. Seaweed caresses bare feet. In the mouth, the peat emerges, it is quite violent. Earthy plants, drowned in thick smoke. A few drops of honey. It's a bit smooth. Final of a rare explosiveness, very long, concentrated coal, black earth full the mouth, cola, nutmeg, it takes off the head, and we never end. However, it is not aggressive, it moves just enough. Bark on the end, some berries.
