The 53.4% are well involved. I find the aroma to be quite voluminous, medium-heavy, slightly greasy and quite round. Vanilla sauce, jam, jam, chocolate strawberries, cooling mint and a touch of Haribo Primavera are very closely interwoven. After a little longer, shortbread biscuits and more tropical fruits come to the fore. Surprisingly sweet for a Talisker matured in a bourbon barrel.
For me an unusual and yet very coherent nose that can be examined more closely.
On the one hand powerful and with a typical chili catch, on the other hand silky and oily in the mouth with a compact fruitiness encased in tingling spices. Then ends in orange jam and apple juice.
Medium length, here too chilli and spices are the clearest features. Still juicy and benevolent with relatively little wood influence.
