Diluted with a little water to about 58%. Very nice bottling. The whisky looks significantly older than 7 years.

Nose

old sherry Lovage, dried fruits (dates, figs, plums). Raisins, caramel, dark milk chocolate and nuts. honey sweetness. Christmas spices.

Taste

Full-bodied sweet start. Sherry-ed: Dark cherry, honey, dried fruit as above, lovage. nutmeg and cinnamon. caramel and rum raisins. Dark chocolate and mocha. oak seasoning.

Finish

Medium to long, still sweet. warming. Raisins and honey, dark chocolate, mocha, light spice note.
