Pretty much nonexistent, all i get is a little alcohol followed by a subtle citric sweetness that quickly subsides leaving you pretty much with a whisky that doesn't really offer much.
The palate is definetely a step up from the nose (by no means a compliment) as it's just too boring and one dimensional.
You're greeted by a hint of orange on the tongue which quickly dissipates into a dominant wood driven bitterness which isnt too unbearable per se and wouldn't have been as bad if the whisky had more to offer. The alcohol also isnt properly integrated as expected of such a low quality whisky.
Overall flavorwise its just not powerful enough (in terms of flavor) and very uninteresting, quite underwhelming.
Follows the same line as the palate: bitter and woody.
Actually lingers for longer than i expected.
I was hoping this whisky could deliver something decent for the money but is a complete and utter disappointment. Don't really know what i was expecting for such a low price but after tasting the "For Peat's Sake" whisky from the same blender i thought id get something similar in quality.
