  1. Kilo1 scored this whisky 81 points Expert Junior

    Pleasant whisky, from the initial line, a little bit of sharpness is present, but it is not repulsive, for the starting break in the line it is not very bad.

  4. schengel10 scored this whisky 65 points Connoisseur

    A young, simpler and cheaper Speyside Malt;
    • Nose
      light, fruity (green apple, pear), some malt;
    • Taste
      Soft onset, fruity (apples, grapes), subtle spiciness, young and simple, but without off-flavors!
    • Finish
      very short, fruity finish;

    So as a single malt does not say anything to me. No corners, no edges. I would give that to my ignorant guests (whisky cola), that would be the better alternative to the different blends that have to serve otherwise. And it does not cost significantly more.

      Smells flat, little alcohol and little smell. Very fruity. This could be an average supermarket blend, but not as spirited. I do not expect anything.
    • Taste
      70 70
      Undefinable light sweetness, maybe apple? Slightly alcoholic. Again, nothing stunning. He has nothing that could interest me in any way. Probably better than the aforementioned supermarket blend, but actually only because he lacks this Grain-alcoholiness.
    • Finish
      70 70
      Luckily only briefly, there remains a touch of green apple, so at least something I can classify.

    not recommended for drinking pure.
    • Nose
      Grainy. Fruity sweetness; red apples.

      with water: more defined sweetness of fresh dark fruit and tangerines.
    • Taste
      Sharp alcohol arrival. Development of melon, oak wood, citrus piff. Short finish.

      With water: less sharp arrival. More spicy (wood) and light sweetness. Short finish.
    • Finish
      Virtually non-existing.
