light citrus, some hay, and a few strong bitter notes, very fresh.
    • Finish
Lemon cake, slightly bitter notes at the end.

  6. Defeatless scored this whisky 82 points Expert Senior

Nose: Little damp, old cellar, citrus. vanilla. savoury note. Hint of sulpher (I assume this is peat smoke). The alcohol burn doesn't fade away quickly.

Taste: As expected with a lowland: load of citrus. But also vanilla and that little fade hint of peat.

Body: medium. nothing really to say about it...

Finish:short-medium The peat is most prevalent here. Hard candy sweets. some citrus.

Price: Reasonable. Given the story of the distillery everyone should buy a bottle.

    Presentation: Sober but decent.

Comments: This might be the very first whisky with peat in it which I honestly can appreciate.
