Convalmore is famous for its sweet, fruity and a bit spicy

dry fruit, well-balance sweet, I would say one of the best Convalmore

Ripen nectarines, and perhaps peaches too, as they are rather similar. A superb mix of citrus and tropical fruits, the usual bananas, candied ginger, ripened papayas, and pineapples. Strawberry sherbet, jackfruit, starfruit, fried plantain.

A fruity sweetness that grows with air and time. What's not to love with these classic Convalmore notes? It's great! Smoke is evident too, not peat but the smoked fish kind of smoke. Then lemon drizzle over that oily fishy goodness (not smelly fish, but the freshness and supple meat of oily cod, salmon, or trout.

Long and lasting, the flavors are constantly developing. You've got hay and butter, then oak wood and fennel seeds, then walnuts and medicinal gooseberries. WOW! But, the nose is the best.

Very intense and fruity on the nose, abit less on the palate but more spicy and woody - overall really great!

Intense, ripe dried apricot, honey, vanilla, pineapple, ripe mango, passion fruit, orange peel, spices, hints of tobacco, nuts, citrus fruits, whiffs of oak wood - excellent!
    • Taste

Little punchy, fruity, good sweetness, wood spice, pepper, honey, vanilla, more tropical fruits and some dried apricot, cooked oranges, jam, lemon peel, tobacco - great!

Medium long, warm, fruity, spicy, little woody, zesty

    Notes by G&M

Aroma: Citrus aromas, lemon and lime compliment sweet desiccated coconut. White chocolate notes develop alongside soft dark honey and nougat.

Taste: Sweet honeycomb flavours combine with soft apple crumble. Vibrant fruity pears and peaches give way to mature oak.

Finish: A medium and sweet finish with lingering toasted hazelnuts.

    I'm excited.
