Whisky Reviews for Laphroaig Triple Wood
5 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 84.75 points
- Aroma sweet: cream, vanilla, chocolate, toffee, sherry notes, jam (tart), spices, skin and all this against the background of ubiquitous, but quite unobtrusive smoke, peat, creazote and medicine. There were sea and earthy shades. With warming up more jam, and more wood of fruit breeds and gum. Good. The taste is sweet at first: jam and sweets, cream and chocolate, sherry, then smoke and peat, spicy spices, and further medicine and dry wood. Aftertaste : smoke against the background of fading sweetness, a hint of fruit jam and candy, wood, smoked products. In development, dry, smoky, soft. Quite long. Conclusion . This is another matter. It was worthwhile to polish these spirits with sherry and it is already possible to drink. The fragrance is attractive. The taste and aftertaste are sweet. Pretty smooth and spicy whisky. Rating 86 (n23t21f21b21).
