The whisky explains without words why I love Laddie so much. Terrific. 91 points.
    • Nose
"I'm madly in love. This is Laddie the way I love him. Intense. Very intense. A brutal keg and then the distillery character that's pretty much impossible to cover up with even the strongest keg. It still comes through here. I have dark fruit first, dripping and juicy. Dark chocolate. Plus some cowshed, spicy cheese. Black grapes. Everything is so intense, I am captivated.

Water: Rounder, warmer, pastry notes come through more."
    • Taste
"A stunner! The palate is flooded with aromas. Cherries that have been dropped and left lying around in the cowshed. Dark chocolate. Slightly astringent, but by no means disturbing. Cherry pie, sherry-soaked oak. Simply delightful. And yes, the whisky is strong, of course also.

Water: It's getting warmer, the chocolate is a bit lighter, the cowshed is also being tamed a bit."
    • Finish
Long and fruity. Very warm in the throat.

Lots of raisins, coffee, chocolate! ! ! Full-bodied and strong, with a long aftertaste.
    I like it so much.

"Seldom seen such a beautiful color. Fruit candy, floral women's perfume, cold tobacco, lime and orange peels. Incredibly complex. Clear Laddie style in a great combination with the heaviness of the barrel."

Lots of dried fruit, plums, cherries, cellar, old leather, some nuts, slight mildew. The flavor also includes chocolate, tobacco and nutmeg. The finish is oak, ripe fruit, quite a lot of tobacco and dark chocolate. hmm for me 90/91 With water a little more fruit in taste and leather, but the finish for me loses a bit of intensity.
Thanks for bottle and regards from Cracow!
