Fruity on the nose and palate, with a little (cinnamon and herbal) spice. Overall, the whisky offers a little little for the price called.

Not bad, yet not great either. My dad loved it, I think it’s just not for me.
    • Nose
      81 81
Malt, quince and some vanilla notes.
    • Taste
      80 80
First slightly bitter and woody. Give it some time and it reveals some sweeter notes of dark fruits. Bitter, oaky notes coming back.
    • Finish
      80 80
Dark roasted coffee. Short to medium long.

    - a great combination of juicy, strong and full-bodied
    - a well selected special bottling for Horst (Whisky.de)
    - tastes really delicious and is worth the price
    - for about 60€ you get a great fruity single malt
    • Nose
fruity, yellow fruits, apricots, mirabelle plum then you can feel an alcoholic note
    • Taste
strong, spicy, fruity, fruity soft attack, then spicy development in the mouth, peach, plums, juicy, fruity
    • Finish
      medium-long, soft, juicy finish;
      medium-long spicy aftertaste

  7. Vallado scored this whisky 81 points Expert Senior

    • Nose
beautiful yellow fruit and sweet-spicy, cinnamon, peach, caramel, honey
    • Taste
significantly less fruity, the sweet and spicy notes dominate here
    • Finish
slightly sweet and sour, becoming drier. The spices linger a little, but now not super-long.

  8. Goethe scored this whisky 83 points Connoisseur

Quite harsh. The nose seems ok but the refillish charakter is quite bold.
    Concerning price/performance ratio: 6/10
    • Nose
Peaches, honey, some sweet sauternes notes.
    • Taste
Honey, caramel, citrus fruits, peaches, some spices.

A whisky that is pleasantly reminiscent of Christmas scents
    • Nose
      82 82
On the nose as sweet as marzipan with dried citrus fruits. Behind it some dark chocolate
    • Taste
      79 79
Even more sweet, but less fruit. Now there are more vanilla and rum raisins to taste. Alcoholic pungency makes itself a little noticeable. A little cinnamon and maltiness is noticeable.
    • Finish
      78 78
Relatively short finish, in which the sweetness is lost and the oak remains - but without it becoming bitter. It looks more like the aftertaste of a bitter dark beer.

    • Nose
      84 84
Sweet, a little caramel, light fruits, sweet ripe peaches, honey
    • Taste
      85 85
Sweet, mild, honey, caramel, vanilla, some light fruits
    • Finish
      84 84
Sweetness remains, mild, a little oak, becoming drier

  12. Issie did not rate this whisky Connoisseur

    • Nose
slightly musty, fermented light fruits, honey, caramel, dried herbs, some peach, some citrus
    • Taste
Apple, honey, caramel, some citrus, then something very strange happens and all the taste is simply gone, it gets very slightly dry, but that's it
