    nose:
oiled, old varnish, fruits cooked on orange, peach, then exotic fruits
butterscotch, malted, crushed hazelnuts, coffee extract with a large bowl of milk
    mouth:
mixed malt and wood chips; cooked fruits slightly maderized on yellow fruits (peach, apricot) and other dried fruits (fig, grape),
pepper and herbs all at once, light menthol too, fruity return on an amalgam of candied fruits this time on a soft sherry, on juicy yellow fruits (candied mandarin) which denotes a little, the hulls and kernels of walnuts and crushed hazelnuts and its share of bitterness, the glazed side again; then come back coffee and cocoa and finally amalgamated spices.
    final:
woody, spicy, glazed, minty and almondy, roasted malt for a simple but pleasant finish.
    • Finish
46 bottles for ephemeral pleasure, that's a serious deposit.

A rather atypical Speyside, quite heavy, to be reserved for long winter evenings in my opinion.
    • Nose
      86 86
The nose is powerful, and starts directly with a nice dose of polish.
Then we have camphor, eucalyptus and a slight fat side. A little sweaty side.
Fresh and roasted almonds, hazelnuts, roasted and dried cocoa. light date.

I find it a difficult nose to pin down. So I don't have the slightest idea of the distillery.
    • Taste

In the mouth, we continue in the line of the nose. It's really bold, but more defined.
Almond, hazelnut, walnut, light rancio. Oily leather, wax paste. We have a nice dose of bitter dark chocolate, with hints of cocoa. Coffee.
      Very light rubber.
    • Finish
      89 89
The finish is long, on cocoa, melted dark chocolate, coffee, oily leather, camphor, varnish. Clove,
      It's pretty darn heartwarming.

Nose: Coffee, chocolate, nutmeg, cigar then come the fruits with some time in the glass; orange and mango.

Palate: the palate is mainly on coffee, bitter chocolate, then a round side in the mouth with a hint of cream (chocolate tart?)

Final: Average still on coffee, chocolate, nuts, a slice of butter.

Nice nose which outclasses the rest in complexity but the whole is very tasty and appreciable.

    90/100 for sherry lovers ++

Well done but not very surprising.
    • Nose
      89 89
Nice on nuts, encaustic wood, menthol, slightly dusty.
    • Taste
      86 86
In the mouth, a little balsamic vinegar then the bitter chocolate coffee combo which takes over and does not allow me to feel anything else.
    • Finish
      87 87
The finish is in line with the mouth, the bitterness fading somewhat.
