Amber / rust red
A fascinating flavor that makes you want more. Sherry, oranges, sea salt, light farmy notes, but also slightly sour, slightly fruity, slightly different from most malts from this time - constantly changing and fascinating. Now the sweetness and fruity notes get going again and at the same time the spice decreases. Grain, smoke, malt, dull aromas of dry cardboard, wood and always with a slightly sour undertone - what a "nose ride"!
Full sherry power! Salt, pepper, chilli, paprika and with perfect power and as controversial as before; hot versus sweet, fruity versus dull, creamy versus bland - absolutely unique! Hot spices, sweet honey, distinctive wood, filigree fruits of oranges and mandarins - a unique in top quality.
Very long - spicy, dull with bland wood, tea, mocha, liquorice, hints of cocoa and hazelnut cream, but also a bit of fennel and chervil - just fascinating - a fantastic malt from a bygone era and that from a not hyped still!
Only 8 years of barrel storage - incomprehensible - a perfect taste as the end result!
