The earthy peat signature of Ruadh Maor really shines here. There is a bit of antiseptic notes, but the rest of the peat is neither acrid nor ashy. It also does not wander into farmy or manuer-y territory either. While those characters are not inherently bad, the sole earthiness of this peated malt is very pleasant - almost reminds me of mountain tracks. I really enjoyed it as what it is.
