Aroma :With the first sniff, encounter sweetness and spice; treacle toffee and golden syrup with cinnamon and cloves. White peppercorns and aniseed are embedded in dark chocolate, and liquorice is dipped in paprika. The smoke at last appears as smoked fish drizzled with zesty fresh lemon. Water opens up the aroma to reveal creamy malt notes; toffee crisp popcorn, cookie dough mix and vanilla cream. Gammon steaks and exotic guava fruit bring a fresh savoury aroma that slices through the malt. Salted honeycomb fudge is then discovered with a wave of brine of chalky cliffs.
Taste :A creamy and silky mouth-feel glides over the palate with a lovely sweet-salty balance on taste. The initial taste brings creamy fudge and lemon oil, quickly contrasted with the heat of chili peppers and paprika. Arctic char fish melts on the tongue with fresh prawns and lobster. Smoked sausage on brown toast is tangy and dry, contrasted by crisp fresh lettuce leaves and lemon oil.
