- Quite a journey here. Felt mouthwatering at first, and then a bit dry development. It flirts with some sherry notes at times, but it is really the more oaky notes that shine through. And I really mean that purely in a positive way! Cheers
Cinnamon. Fruity, apples and pears. Oak influence. Jammy. Vanilla. Some pine and eartly notes. Raspberries. A bit minty. Hay with time. Marzipane to.
Bubblegum hits you on first sip! Then vanlilla and cinnamon. 2nd sip, the bubblegum fades. More raspberries now, as well as apples. Hint of sherry notes at times. Oranges coming through. Peachy and a bit exotic with time! Delightful development
Medium to long finish. The first sip was very short. Lasted longer and longer with every sip. Sweet spices lingers. Oranges. Vanilla. A bit dry now. Cinnamon really kicks in! A bit malty in the very end
- Nose: Very fruity, really like a kick in the face are very sweet flavors therefore. The barrel of post-maturity has done a great job here. It reminds me gummy bears and Red Bull. There are classic bourbon-barrel flavors such as vanilla and toffe here. Palate: Here it falls off badly. The post-maturing could probably not help much here. He is sweetish, a little seasoning on tap. All in all rather weak. Maybe some alcoholic strength is missing here. Finish: Very short. I really wish I could describe more here, but I did not have much left. Conclusion: The nose is awesome. I have rarely smelled something delicious. Unfortunately, he can not fulfill the expectations afterwards. The whisky is ok, but I do not realize the 37 years and the PLV is just not good in such a case.
