Nose: Amazingly nutty at first. I find almonds, walnuts and then also hazelnuts in dark chocolate, at the same time there is a fruity sweetness. Blackberries and various berry jams, some sweet cherries and leather follow.
Palate: Starts creamy and sweet, builds intensely and then becomes slightly more bitter. Here, too, nuts, dark chocolate and dried berries. In addition, apricot kernels, dry oak wood, cooked raspberries and delicate milk coffee.
Finish: Medium length and carries on as before. In addition cedar wood, cloves, malt and cocoa.
Conclusion: Sweet, creamy and just the right amount of spice. Definitely a recommendation for lovers of dark sherry malts. 87/100 points (2022)
