  1. FritzeKrautman scored this whisky 90 points Connoisseur

A really tasty, well-aged malt. Reasonable price-performance ratio. A repurchase candidate.
    • Nose
Sweetness, spices, cinnamon, orange, slightly solvent, bergamot oil, slightly pungent alcohol, later shoe polish, oak, vanilla
    • Taste
Soft yet intense, sweet, powerful grapes and orange, burnt wood,
    • Finish
Long finish. Spicy, slightly peppery, vanilla, malty and somehow reminiscent of a bitter light beer. Walnut. The alcohol tingles a bit.

tasted over a period of 10 weeks. TOP whisky with beautiful maturation, which also continues to develop in the open bottle. Very layered and complex. Needs time in the glass, approx. 10 drops of water open it up to rounder aromas.
Natural color: rich deep dark amber-gold, also a pleasure for the eye.
Full enjoyment in every glass, at the end of the bottle there is still an impressive variety of tastes. Worth every penny of the €128 I paid. Each sip offered me and several fellow tasters new experiences
    • Nose
Oak, Ripe Fruits, Plum, Pear, Ginger, Nuts, Sherry, Dried Fruits, Date, Fig, Creamy Sweetness, Vanilla and Toffee, Cake, Grapefruit and Juicy Oranges, Dark Chocolate, Leather, Flavored Tobacco.
      Very complex and inspiring.
    • Taste
powerful, full-bodied and smooth. Lining the mouth, stimulating the flow of saliva, later becoming slightly drier and tart. Everything in it, what the nose offered. Everyone sips with new impressions. In addition, slightly bitter-sweet in the sense of dark chocolate, clear nuttiness, pleasantly integrated oak spice
    • Finish
long, complex, full of pleasure with all the impressions previously gained.

Nice whisky with a good PLV ????????
Attention, the whisky gets better and better when the bottle is open and the level is less ????????

Hints of dark fruits such as raisins and dates but also orange zest and honey fill the air. Definitely let the stuff breathe for 20 minutes. The 46% are very present but not stinging and suit him well. Also slight hints of leather and a little mustiness. Nice nose ????????
    • Taste

The oak comes through very well and reflects the 24 years very well. Also a bit dry in the mouth and again in the foreground rather dark fruits with some orange peel. There is also some cinnamon and nutmeg.
    • Finish
      87 87
The finish is relatively long but a bit too bitter for me personally. Sure, 24 years, there is some woody spice, but I still think it could do with a little less bitterness. But that's whining on a high level. A nice bottling ????????
