Blind tasting of a sample. A typical G&M bottling, which reminded me a lot of older 15-year-old bottlings of Mortlach and Linkwood.
    • Nose
Cherry, plum, orange, caramel and apple.
    • Taste
Plum, raisin, cherry, chocolate, apple and a little spice.

      Raisin, plum, chocolate and apple.

  3. Erik Elixir scored this whisky 86 points Connoisseur

N: apple juice, pear, red berries, orange, tee, saw dust and spices like Gluhwein
T: bitter - bitter cookies, bitter sweet candy - schuimblokjes and fruity
F: drying, nutmeg, citrus and raisins like in old Port
    tasted with Aby

  4. aby scored this whisky 86 points Expert Senior

overall: a nice sherry whisky and a typical winterdram (apple pie with cinnamon, gingerbread/speculaas spices)  86p.
