Whisky Reviews for Mortlach 1990 GM
4 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 86.29 points
- Blind tasting of a sample. A typical G&M bottling, which reminded me a lot of older 15-year-old bottlings of Mortlach and Linkwood.
Cherry, plum, orange, caramel and apple.
Plum, raisin, cherry, chocolate, apple and a little spice.
Raisin, plum, chocolate and apple.
- N: apple juice, pear, red berries, orange, tee, saw dust and spices like Gluhwein
T: bitter - bitter cookies, bitter sweet candy - schuimblokjes and fruity
F: drying, nutmeg, citrus and raisins like in old Port
tasted with Aby
- overall: a nice sherry whisky and a typical winterdram (apple pie with cinnamon, gingerbread/speculaas spices) 86p.
