Whisky Reviews for Glenallachie 2008 MM
3 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 85.00 points
- Glenallachie I have not often had in my glass. The interesting thing about this bottling is the finish on Cognac cask. Quite tasty, but the price is too high.
Spicy, ripe fruit, tobacco, buttery, orange, milk chocolate.
Malty, nuts, toffee and oak spice. Still tobacco.
Medium aftertaste. Ripe fruit and vanilla.
- Smells very complex with sweet ripe fruit, with an additional wood aroma like a cedar box. Like the cigar boxes, but without cigars. Something like paraffin. Yummy!! Nuts, something savory. This one is coming my way, in character. I wouldn't regret it if I had a bottle of it. To my shame, I haven't bought a Glenallachie so far, I just had to make some changes.
