The white deer is linked by the real world and the other world, on the Isle of Arran they believe in it.
We are pleased to present the sixth edition of the White Stag, this time selected by our Plant Manager David Livingston. Assigned to select barrels for bottling this year, David singled out the outstanding 1997 sherry hogshead and sherry puncheon, which were combined to create a special bottling experience for our community.
Aroma: Very closed at first, fruity notes with a spicy flavor emerge as it unfolds. A little apples and a little more citrus.
Taste: spicy and bright, sweet reminiscent of some sweets from childhood, enveloping, fresh. Light oak. Fruit notes. Later, citrus motifs appear. The citrus fruits shift towards pears and tropical melons with a sweetness that grows with every sip.
Finish: Very long lasting, candies and dried apricots, fruit cocktail of incredible complexity. Intense, which lasts a long time after the last sip.
Very interesting release! 89 points (the aroma brings a little, but the taste and finish put everything in its place)
