I added a few drops of water, the sherry barrels have an a-typical smell, it tends to tropical fruits, such as banana, peach, mango..
-
It really needs some water, because the alcohol is well present.. otherwise it will come in a bit harsh.. the taste eventually comes down to sherry.. but with a lot of sweetness of tropical fruits ... and not the coffee, raisins, dates like you would expect… with small sips you discover burnt sugar and the sherry profile emerges.. even cinnamon, candy come along

The finish is a bit short.. probably due to age.. it gets a bit spicy.. then some tannins from the barrel and then it sinks..
