- Jo, bad is not, you can wegsüppeln good for barbecue. Playing in the class of Johnnie Double Black and Black Bottle (what do all of them actually have with "black"?), But the two are available for well under 32 €.
Orangeat, cane sugar, a bit burned on, cereals, light stalk note, compost earth
Toffee sweet, but not very long, then grain, earth, charcoal, pepper, bitter almond, the smoke influence comes across quite clearly, rather dirty / rough, the 40% do not feel too thin
medium long, warm, cocoa, charcoal, pepper
- Nose: Peat, red wine, sour stuff, malt
Initial taste: hint of peat, some sherry sultana some vanilla and toffee.
Body: medium nothing really special to be honest
Finish:short - medium peat preveals, sweetness shows up some toffee and sherry
Price: well it's worth the little extra money, but just once
Presentation: Yet another over the top presented whisky.
Comments: This is like johnny walker double black but black grouse instead. Just a little more sweetness and smoke and that's it.
Not really that very much special.
