Herbs, Oranges, Plums. Very perfumy whisky for a Blair Athol, usually a more nutty and cereal whisky.
Needs some water with this high abv. European oak spicy and sherry sweet with red berries and walnuts. Warming.
Some bitterness mixed with the sherry. Ginger notes. No taste of old sherry like varnish or polish, more just sherry fruit sweetness.
Long sweet finish with prominent PX sherry notes. A classic sherry bomb.
