Really good dark sherry whisky, really enjoyable though the finish might lack a bit of complexity.

Tried it together with the 1965 dumpy wb 16642 Such différent whiskies!

A rather dark Caper - also a small fruit bomb - at least on the nose - cannot fully catch up on the palate - a bit short finish - nevertheless very good
    • Nose
Intense fruity, citric, blood oranges, red berries and cherries too, fresh wood, honeydew, hints of spices such as cinnamon and a bit nutmeg - really good
    • Taste
Very oily, creamy, a bit punchy, fruity, subtle sweetness, dark chocolate, good oak wood, spices, following the nose
    • Finish
Medium long, warm, little zesty, also some coffeeish and toffeish, fading away rather quickly

To long on the wood, which is overpowering.

Let this sit until some of the tannins precipitate out, and then it might be worthwhile--and worth waiting for. As is, it's a bit of a let down that makes you ask yourself why they left it on the wood for so long.
