Whisky Reviews for Edradour 2010 SV

- These Edradours are usually good, but some are great. This fits the latter category ror me. A great sherry bomb, that works well, if you can get past the initial soy-beefstock-maggi-funk.
Typical Edradour “funk“ - damp leaves, chocolate, and beef stock. Where does Andrew Symington get all these sherry casks? Is there such a thing as blue berry honey? Bold brew coffee? It certainly ticks a lot of boxes here. Nice!
Sweet and savoury, salted caramel, black forrest fruit, and chocolate sauce. Orange liqueurs mingles with melted caramel - Interesting mix of fruity and sweet.
Medium-long. Sweet aromatised tea, reminding me of a berry infusion. Then at last some tannin-inducing mint chocolate.
