- Great whisky, if you don't look at the price. I did not feel any cognac or wine notes. The overall profile matches the classic bourbon. I would like to note the magnificent and balanced malt nose of this whisky.

The maltest of all malt whisky aromas, ripe red apples, thinner, tropical fruit, creamy caramel, toffee.
In an empty glass prunes and oak tannins.
After breathing, pungent spirits leave, yellow fruits begin to bloom and reveal beautiful bright colors, maltiness transforms into fried fish, which was also felt in the classic 12-year-old release. Malt is changing!
Sweet, ripe, juicy garden red apples, an abundance of exotic fruits, a touch of bitterness, very slightly woody, but more like spices, light lemon sourness, honey, creamy caramel, burning ginger.
Sweetness 8 out of 10
Fruity, woody, slightly astringent and tannic
pleasant and aromatic, somewhat fruity and spicy, orange, spices/baking spices (fine vanilla note), wood/oak notes, smoke idea. Looks elegant and harmonious. Nothing jars or disturbs.
Spicy-fruity, sweetish-tart-sweetish, orange, wood/oak, spices, hint of chocolate, hint of perfume, here too somewhere far away hint of smoke. Despite "only" 43.8% not watered down or thin.
the impressions are reflected here: Slightly fruity and spicy, a little sweet, orange, spices/baking spices, slightly smoky. Finally idea nutty, hint of chocolate. Pleasantly ending.
- Probably the highest retail-price bottle of whisky i've tried so far, and I must say it's indeed one of - yet not thé - best yet. It pours clear pale gold. Lots of tears. Scent is full, very refined . Bit grape-like. Taste is full, very elegant. Taste is full, refined sweetness. loads of almond-nuttyness. Lovely whisky, for sure. Amazing packaging as well. Just very overpriced for the flavors i'm getting, in my personal opinion.
