A summer dram, for sure, but a bit too much wine influence on the palate, I feel. Thanks to Niek
& Ilse who brought me a miniature.
    • Nose
      The nose is
honeysweet on nougat, mildly floral (think dried grass or hay) and barely
spicy. I also get some dried apricots, but little else. No, wait… patience
makes it more fruity. Some peach and mandarin shine through. It does remain
      very soft.
    • Taste
      On the palate, it is
mildly sour and bitter. Seville oranges, grapefruit and clear hints of wine.
This might have been a Sauternes cask. Unfortunately, there is also some
bubblegum in the back of the throat, revealing the young age.
    • Finish
      The finish is rather
short and allows some nutmeg to pierce through.
