Whisky Reviews for Weidenauer Waldviertler Whisky
4 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 73.00 points
- Strange notes of cheese to start that with some alcohol vapors, are not very attractive. After a long time, there are notes of vanilla, all in a certain freshness. On the palate, it's quite thin, with a fluid touch typical of entry-level grain whiskys - it's about oats. Final inconsistent.
- We are almost afraid of a container error? Am I drinking a wood treatment agent?
Very strange, chemical nose, mixture of brico-depo products, xylopaint, solvent.
With aeration, polish board, a little vanilla, coconut ball with mung beans.
Should he treat the barrel that would contain the whisky ...?
First sweet attack, always a strange aftertaste. Tons of green wood, varnish and household chemicals. That's whisky?
Short. But it's not worse
- gold color, nose very marked by glue, varnish, cereals, very chemical. The mouth is a little alcoholic and is rather marked by spices and very green wood like a bad bourbon. Really not terrible ...
